Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Margin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Margin on your Apple devices for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Margin Pro Subscription
Margin Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings at any time.
Free Trial
Margin Pro includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all journal entries and content you create in Margin. We claim no rights over your writing.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Export & Backup
Margin allows you to export your journal entries as a JSON file containing your text, mood, tags, date, location, and weather data. Photos and voice memos are not included in exports due to file size.
We strongly recommend regularly exporting your entries from Settings as your only backup. We are not responsible for data loss caused by deleting the app or device failure.

Margin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any loss of data.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
